“The White House knew the cause the night it happened, a US Navy missile misfire.” Misfire is not the correct word to use here. A misfire would mean the missile didn’t fire. Nevertheless, as a former Navy combat system technician, I am unable to accept a Navy SM2 as the cause without more information/documentation/evidence than what I’ve seen thus far. Not saying it didn’t or couldn’t. Just being skeptical.

There were many eyewitnesses that saw a missile hit TWA 800. See the newspaper article photo in this post. If the FBI could perform a cover-up, certainly the U.S. Navy could as well (at the direction of others).

Think of the number of people involved in a coverup over 29 years and the probability of that happening. Then think of Occam's Razor--"pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate" and accept the government findings.

Not so...streaks of light, yes. An actual missile at night going at supersonic speed, no...https://www.ntsb.gov/news/events/Documents/moriches_ny-witnesses.pdf

My thesis is that it was no accident. Maybe reparations for the Iranian Air 655 shootdown. Maybe something else...

A thesis is a proposition to be proved or one advanced without proof or a position or proposition that a person advances and offers to maintain by argument. Would love to see the evidence to support your thesis.

Since I am a nobody from nowhere Texas and have no access to any government secrets, or human intelligence that might provide it, my evidence would have to be constructed by the Inductive Reasoning process which would provide probable, not definitive conclusions. To start, a matrix would need to be constructed, logging a spectrum of notable incidents from the Clinton-Rodham-Clinton dual presidency. When we put them into a spreadsheet, My guess is that patterns will emerge. The sort of event I'm thinking of could be the 2003 theft of classified documents from the National Archive by Clinton National Security Advisor Sandy Berger, the suicide of Vince Foster, the government aggression against the hapless Christians in Waco, Texas and the FBI squelching of the public reports of John Doe 2, the accomplice of Timothy McVeigh in Oklahoma City...or I suppose, I could just ask Chat GPT. Maybe that's the thing for us all Mr. Jack: Ask the commercially available AI sources and start the matrix there. Results could be fun and repeatable...Happy Tuesday!

I concur. Unlike investigators, FBI, etc., I don’t discount all the eyewitness testimony.

Steve, your thesis is chillingly similar to the terrifying plotline in Sidney Lumet’s thriller Fail Safe.

Is such a thing possible? With Bill Clinton in the White House…

Take a look at Executive Order 13039, signed by Bill Clinton, which removed the Federal whistleblower protections for members of the Navy Special Weapons Development Group — what was the impetus for its creation, and timing? Why is EO 13039 still active, other than to muzzle those who might speak up?

That executive order applies to USC title 5, chapter 71 and covers labor management relations for civilian federal employees. The order added DEVGRU, aka Seal Team 6, to a long list of intelligence agencies and subdivisions of those agencies, added by other executive orders, declared exempt from the provisions of chapter 71 in its entirety. It’s a non sequitur. Moreover, DEVGRU would not have been involved in any kind of surface to air missile exercise. One thing is certain; nothing in the government’s story of what happened is true.

Eyewitnesses were definitely stunned by what they saw. The stories were different, but many did point out that they felt like they saw "a flare of fireworks" heading in the direction of the jetliner before it exploded. Many assumed that it was a "missile" or a "rocket

Maybe the answer to why lies in who was on the plane or someone related to a passenger on the plane?

If there was such a massive cover up why would the FBI even admit there was a trace amount of explosive residue on the plane?
