Bondi should never have been hired as AG. At the very least, she is lacking in integrity. Bondi just attempted to convince America that Jeffrey Epstein's videos were copied by him from the internet and no crimes had been committed. That is an unbelievable lie. She is not suited for the job.
Some of these choices for important roles in this admin now seem sus, Bondi tops it. 6 months in it will be hard for her to get the faith back from the American citizens
All this Epstein outrage is smoke. Alan Dershowitz put it best, that any list, log, or manifest related to Epstein's 'clients' cannot be lawfully published as it would impugn guilt to many innocent people. Some think Chief Justice Roberts is high on the list of compromised pedophiles . . . but no one has proof. So, investigate, indict, and convict. Otherwise, SHUT UP! Was the Mossad involved? Only the Israel haters say this. This is crazy on steroids and Bondi et all need a good lawyer and PR firm to make the proper statement to shut up all the crazies.
Impressive piece of work, thank you. Black Americans with little better to do than dream up hoaxes or believe in them without more than an interest in getting back at whites have been a rising problem for decades. Whites who have nothing more than repeated stories to go on have joined them in their pathetic attempt at selling the fiction that white America is just oh so racist. Blacks must be held up as somehow special; Dave Chappelle who I think is about the funniest human being I've ever heard and watched is just the sort of intellectually dishonest purveyor of garbage thinking where blacks are concerned. His response to militant, stupid people attacking white and Asian people and murdering each other - silence. It's always somehow 1850 and the white people are slave owners just without the slaves.
This all sounds horribly racist to the mindset of an American post-1965. But it isn't, it's the situation so many of us live in. I have love in my heart for everyone who is open and doesn't hate me because of my skin color and views. It doesn't matter our "identity".
Where Bondi is concerned, I simply question her intellect and courage. She doesn't seem at all qualified to hold her position, and she seems to follow the herd.
Thanks, Mr. Cashill, for covering the Zimmerman travesty that Pam Bondi perpetrated. Since she was first named as a potential AG pic, I have been reminding people of what she did, for purely political purposes, in destroying the life of a man who merely wanted to protect his community and was forced to save his own life when assaulted. Rick Scott is equally responsible for this, as well as Angela Corey. I am glad to learn you are in touch with Mr. Zimmerman. It's inexcusable that he has to live in the shadows as you describe it. I was reading the Conservative Treehouse posts on this at the time, and it exposed the 17 year old for who he really was, a budding thug in the making. Thank you for doing the job that the legacy media refuses to do, standing up for justice, and calling out the perpetrators of INJUSTICE, such as Pam Bondi.
Let me digress for a minute and just say this, there was a real injustice done to Derek Chauvin. There was false testimony and a lot of judicial errors! At the very least, Trump should pardon him for the federal conviction. And George Floyd was nothing but a common criminal.
Got beat and robbed by a group in DC because of the Martin affair. Took a roundhouse kick to ribs as I got up and was told that was for Trayvon. Gotten even worse in DC since. I have a V1 sheet as long as any criminal rap sheet today with the most recent incident being July 4. It never has been a pleasant place but that was the first time I was properly victimized. Thanks Obama.
Yet another piece that you ought to win the Pulitzer Prize for journalism for, Jack! With the way the mainstream media vilified George Zimmerman, one would never guess he was an Obama supporter and a civil rights activist. Pam Bondi threw George Zimmerman to the wolves. Despite the fact this was a clear-cut case of self-defense, Bondi caved into the woke mob. She charged Zimmerman with first-degree murder. Trayvon Martin attacked Zimmerman and was an extremely dangerous individual who was an aspiring MMA fighter. He could've simply just had a civil conversation with Zimmerman and the whole thing could've ended peacefully and everyone could've gone home safe and alive. But Martin a troubled youth who had fallen in with the wrong crowd, decided to escalate the situation and simply brutally attack Zimmerman. Zimmerman shot and killed Martin to save his own life from being taken. Bondi should've pressed no charges against him, but she caved in to public pressure.
To her credit, Bondi did support an important motion by the defense. But she never should've let the case go ahead in the first place. The case going to court led to the Trayvon Hoax, races hoaxes becoming a trend and the birth of Black Lives Matter. On a side note, BLM is NOT the heir apparent to the Civil Rights Movement. Let's be clear, BLM is a black separatist hate group that did nothing to help the black community, exploited police brutality victims and their families, incited rioting and looting, pushed identity politics and race essentialism, and sought the destruction of capitalism, the nuclear family and the state of Israel. They also can rightly be labeled racist and antisemitic. Returning to the topic of this article, Bondi's abandonment of Zimmerman shows that the botching of the Epstein case was hardly the first time she mishandled an important case. This article an important reminder of this fact. I'm glad you brought up Greg and Travis McMichael who wrongly were imprisoned for the completely justified shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery.
George Zimmerman could've ended up like them thanks to Pam Bondi. Luckily, his defense team fought like h*** for him. He was rightly acquitted for Martin's death but sadly, his life will never be the same again. Everyone thinks he's a cold-blooded murderer and a foaming at the mouth racist. Nothing could be further from the truth. Pam Bondi could've prevented all that if she had only grown a spine. She'll just have to live with that for the rest of her life. I don't envy her at all. Here are some excellent reads that I would recommend to anyone to help see through the race hoaxes and fight back against identity politics and race essentialism in this country:

Bondi called off the prosecution of Dr Kirk Moore today. So thankful for that! But I can’t help but think it is to throw the MAGA base a bone after the Epstein file debacle.
You mention the “weeks of disinformation” about the Trayvon Martin case….
2012:
NBC issues apology on Zimmerman tape screw-up
“During our investigation it became evident that there was an error made in the production process that we deeply regret. We will be taking the necessary steps to prevent this from happening in the future and apologize to our viewers.”
That apology addresses the “Today” show’s failure to abridge accurately the conversation between Zimmerman and the dispatcher in this high-profile case. This is how the program portrayed a segment of that conversation:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.
And here is how it actually went down:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.
Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?
Again, the issue was out of Pam Bondi's hands. The left, led by Benjamin Crump and the newly organizing Black Lives Matter, took over and used the threat of federal civil rights investigation to overcome any jurisdiction of the state and the county. The feds were intent on bankrupting the local jurisdiction or get a murder conviction.
Also, Zimmerman (who I have emailed a couple of times) was part of a Neighborhood Watch, and there were local laws protecting him . . . but the Federal Civil Rights threat with Pres. Obama giving full support of his DOJ is what kyboshed any resistance from Pam Bondi.
Here is the city manager's report exonerating Zimmerman in a detailed public notice, the manager a black man, but Crump and Obama steamrolled through demanding a conviction.
In his excellent articles on the justified use of lethal force in self defense, Massad Ayoob frequently uses the Zimmerman - Martin case to illustrate this concept. Ayoob refers to the three basic elements which must be present, to show your attacker(s) presented an immediate, otherwise unavoidable threat of death or grave bodily harm to you, or someone you have the legal right to protect, and thus justify your use of lethal force in self-defense.
These three elements are:
ABILITY: the attacker(s) possess the physical means to kill you, with weapons like a gun, knife, club, hammer, etc; a disparity of force due to a difference in physical strength / size, or multiple attackers, et cetera. Three otherwise-unarmed adolescent males versus an elderly woman, can be an example of disparity of force.
OPPORTUNITY: the attacker(s) must be in a position to immediately use their ability to kill or maim the intended victim(s).
JEOPARDY: the attacker(s) must show a manifest intent to kill or maim, through words and/or actions.
Trayvon Martin showed all three of those elements in his attack on Zimmerman: an ABILITY to kill, based on his much superior physical strength;
an OPPORTUNITY to kill, based on him being on top of Zimmerman; and JEOPARDY, Martin’s manifest intent to kill or severely injure Zimmerman, based on him bashing his head against the sidewalk.
Last night in a fit of acid reflux I woke up and checked Substack. My feed was awash in clamors for Pam’s scalp from writers such as yourself who - and I’m only guessing here, but I think I’m right - have never picked a jury, or tried a criminal case, or been a prosecuting attorney or an elected official, and accordingly are, as we said in the USMC, talking out their ass. Or maybe they’re just bots.
I learned the trade in the best prosecuting attorney’s office in Missouri, and among the nuggets of wisdom imparted there was the axiom that trying a case and losing it is worse than not trying it at all, with the corollary that some cases just absolutely must be tried.
After all, that’s the lynchpin on the Epstein situation, no? If you don’t want to be nibbled to death by ducks for a few decades just throw it out there in court and show the public how weak the case is.
With that in mind, George Zimmerman is the guy who makes every responsible gun owner cringe, sort of a David Hogg of the Right.
I’m all about speaking your mind, because we’re fucking Americans, by God, but I’m not going to sit here with my mouth shut and see Pam kicked around over George Zimmerman.
BO could have calmed racial tensions, as many hoped in 2008, and he could have refused the Nobel Peace Prize and raised many people's opinion of him, but he didn't. Ego or political gain? Never showed much grace that I could see. I wonder if anyone ever advised him to act differently.

I was unaware of Bondi’s role in the Zimmerman case. If she’s inclined to take the easier route, she’s not the one we want as AG. Integrity matters.
Your closing comment struck me. Very good point.

I think Bondi is insecure. That’s why she’s so loud all the time. Always in defensive mode - not attack mode. Is she Barr 2.0?
Sundance at CTH has warned all regarding four months ago.

Mr Cashill, I pray you and Sundance, from Conservative Treehouse, each have someone in PTrump's inner circle who reads both columns regularly.
PTrump definitely has obstructionists 'close' to him, keeping him in the dark and feeding him manure.
Jack, stifle yourself.
