However, in the Records Management section of the Department of the Navy Records Management Program, Part 1, (3)(a) says “Within the legal framework provided by law and reference (e) the DON’s RM (Dept. of the Navy Record Management program) has as its principal goals: (2) Preservation of records having long-term permanent worth because of the continuing administrative, legal, scientific or historical values.” Would Operation Neptune Spear not have significant historical value?

Interesting that the big-time Hollywood movie on the Bin Laden raid, "Zero Dark Thirty" based its' entire plot and premise that the CIA found Bin Laden by tracking his couriers. The movie attempted to make a heroine of the CIA analyst who tracked Bin Laden and pushed the killing mission on a presumably reluctant Obama and his advisors. The allegations as cited in the Seymour Hersh book version are in little evidence in the movie. Obviously the LW Holloywood movie moguls were doing their best to protect their precious Obama. One wild card in this entire narrative is the former Seal, Robert O'Neill who is cited (and has identified himself) as the Seal who actually killed Bin Laden in the 3rd story of the hideaway house. He is no leftist or Obama syncopat. I have seen him interviewed several times on both Fox News and Newsmax. Perhaps he should write his own book. I found him to be very credible.

According to Hersh, when Navy SEALs arrived in Abbottabad, they were met by an ISI officer who casually walked them to bin Laden’s bedroom. The SEALs then riddled him with bullets, tore his body apart, and dispersed them throughout the Hindu Kush, just because.
Hersh’s sources for this story are both dubious and anonymous.
