Amazing that some members of Congress to this day carry forward the lie that several police officers were killed in the ‘Trump inspired’ “insurrection.” While at least two people were killed by the police. The footage of Officer Byrd shooting Ashli Babbit to death is shocking and chilling. Specifically, the fact that Byrd was firing at fellow police officers, in full SWAT battle rattle and with semi or fully automatic weapons. Literally it could have gone to close quarters combat in a heartbeat if the police had returned fire. Luckily they had more discipline than Byrd and avoided a real blood bath. It is hard not to lose hope that we will ever get to the bottom of things. If the Director and Deputy Director of the FBI currently reiterate the stance that Epstein hung himself then that fact pattern doesn’t leave much room for anything else of significance being brought to light let alone to justice.
