Zohran May Be a Commie, But Hey, So Were Comey and Brennan
And Those Two Were Cocky Enough to Admit It
To the media’s feigned horror, President Trump has called New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani a “pure, true communist,” not to mention a “total nut job.” As shall be seen, Trump knows something about communists in government.
Google AI’s program Gemini takes a more gentle approach than the president. “Mamdani describes himself as a ‘democratic socialist,’" Gemini assures us in its charmingly anodyne way. “He is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.” While conceding that Mamdani promises “free city buses, free childcare, government-run grocery stores, and rent freezes,” Gemini’s “experts in political science “ insist these policies “do not align with the core tenets of communism.” Phew!
Whatever Mandami calls himself, America will survive. Proof of the same is that we survived a conspiracy by two self-professed communists, FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan, in cahoots with a crypto communist president. Their mission—to destroy first the candidacy and then the presidency of Donald Trump.
Brennan’s background is well enough known. In 2016, at a congressional hearing on diversity in the CIA, Brennan told a story about himself that raised eyebrows even among the jaded.
In 1980, when Brennan first applied for the CIA, the polygrapher asked a standard question as to whether Brennan had ever worked with a group dedicated to overthrowing the United States. In fact, Brennan had voted for the Communist Party candidate for president, Gus Hall, in 1976 and admitted as much to the CIA polygrapher.
“I said I was neither Democratic or Republican,” Brennan recounted, “but it was my way, as I was going to college, of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change.” That answer satisfied Jimmy Carter’s CIA brass. In 2016, the unapologetic Brennan shared this anecdote as an illustration of the CIA’s embrace of diverse candidates—black, white, or red.
A fluent Arabic speaker, Brennan was rumored to have converted to Islam while CIA chief of station in Saudi Arabia in the late 1990s. His accuser, former FBI agent John Guandolo, claimed to have “direct sources” on the ground in Saudi Arabia with “direct knowledge” of Brennan’s conversion. Guandolo made this accusation while the U.S. Senate was considering Obama’s nomination of Brennan to head the CIA in February 2013. Whether Guandolo was telling the truth or not will likely never be known. The major media paid zero attention to him or his claim.
In 2013, the same year Brennan was named director of the CIA, Obama chose the seemingly apolitical James Comey to head the FBI. Like Brennan, however, Comey had a past. In 2003, he acknowledged his leftist roots in a New York magazine interview, telling reporter Chris Smith, “I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now.”
Despite an impending appointment by George W. Bush to serve as deputy attorney general, Comey used the Smith interview to signal his independence: “I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.” As with Brennan, much would depend on the situation. In his graduate thesis, Comey wrote, “The Christian in politics must be willing to transgress any purely Christian ethic. He must be willing to sin in the name of justice.”
Brennan and Comey got to do some serious sinning in the name of treason when they hooked up with British fellow traveler Christopher Steele in 2016. Contemporaries remembered “Chris” Steele as an “avowedly Left-wing student with CND credentials.” CND was shorthand for “Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament,” a British organization that was particularly active when Steele arrived at Cambridge in the early 1980s.
Barack Obama, meanwhile, was echoing the same themes in an article, “Breaking The War Mentality,” published in a Columbia University magazine in 1983. “Barack Obama’s journalistic voice was edgy with disdain for what he called ‘the relentless, often silent spread of militarism in the country’ amid ‘the growing threat of war,’” the New York Times insisted years later.
The Times did not mention that the “growing threat of war” was a KGB hobgoblin designed to scare the West out of placing Pershing Missiles in West Germany. Nor did the Times point out how irredeemably awkward was Obama’s prose style. But there was much about Obama the Times chose not to know, including his mentorship by the openly communist Frank Marshall Davis and his intimate friendship with “anarchocommunist” Bill Ayers.
In the unfortunate Cambridge tradition—Kim Philby, Guy Burgess, John Cairncross, and the like—Steele joined MI6 upon graduation. He spent at least three years in Russia and worked the Russian desk in London for three more years. History will remember Steele for attaching his name to a massive disinformation campaign that Brennan, Comey, and Obama massaged into a coup. A fair question is in whose interest were they all working?
That question applies to Zohran as well. In the meantime, Yuri, welcome to the club.
A communist, a spy, and a traitor walks into a bar.
The bartender asks, "What would u like to drink, Mr. Brennan?"
Zohran Mamdani, The current Svengali of blank starring New Yorkers has captured the eye of the electorate in an unfortunately positive way. They recently named him the Democratic Nominee in the City’s Mayoral race. Better than promising “A Chicken in every pot,” he goes a step or two further with “free city buses, free childcare, government-run grocery stores, and rent freezes, etc.” I believe I also heard Medical care thrown in there. Who the Hell knows what other goodies he’ll have in store for the denizens of the Great White Way and the slums surrounding it should he be elected.
Personal knowledge of friends and a few relatives from Communist held countries gave me a few lessons in their concept of “Free.” I’ll leave you with the most chilling one. Medical Care; Absolutely free, anything you want. Take a ticket and get in this line. Cancer is fast tracked, usually only a year. More popular ailments have longer lines. OK New York, You have your assignment. Don't screw it up this time.
