Government conspiracies break down into two basic types, those of concealment and those of execution. The former are frighteningly common—Watergate, TWA 800, Benghazi. The latter are rare and potentially more destructive than even the “hide the decline” deep-sixing of Joe Biden’s senility.
“Russiagate,” for lack of a better term, looms as the most subversive conspiracy of execution in American history. Thanks to Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard, we have proof that it was not mere misjudgment.
On Friday, Gabbard lowered the boom. In her own words, “After President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.” Her bullet points go straight to the heart of the treason.
In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community (IC) consistently assessed that Russia is “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means.”
On December 7, 2016, after the election, talking points were prepared for DNI James Clapper stating, “Foreign advaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the US Presidential election outcome.”
On December 9, 2016, President Obama’s White House gathered top National Security Council Principals for a meeting that included James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe and others, to discuss Russia.
After the meeting, DNI Clapper’s Executive Assistant sent an email to IC [intelligence community] leaders tasking them with creating a new IC assessment “per the President’s request” that details the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.” It went on to say, “ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS.”
Obama officials leaked false statements to media outlets, including The Washington Post, claiming, “Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election.”
On January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months.
Gabbard continues, “After months of investigation into this matter, the facts reveal this new assessment was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible. This was politicized intelligence that was used as the basis for countless smears seeking to delegitimize President Trump’s victory, the years-long Mueller investigation, two Congressional impeachments, high level officials being investigated, arrested, and thrown in jail, heightened US-Russia tensions, and more.
One additional consequence of the coup, I would note, was the Republican loss of 41 House seats in 2018 election. Despite a revived economy, low inflation, and world peace, outlandish tales of President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia dominated the news through November. Well before Election Day, the Mueller people knew well there was no there there, but by prolonging the invesigation, they were able to keep it in the news.
Back to Tulsi: “The issue I am raising is not a partisan issue. It is one that concerns every American. The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government. Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”
Although Gabbard does not discuss the media’s role, the coup could not have proceeded without their cheerleading. During the 2016 campaign and after, inconvenient facts such as the funding of the dossier or its authorship had to drop-kick MSM journalists in the teeth before they noticed, let alone investigated.
By contrast, wrote journalist Matt Taibbi, breaking from the pack, the media “swallowed whole a massive disinformation campaign.” Even after journalists could see what a mess the dossier was, even after they learned it was simply bad opposition research funded by the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign, they continued to talk about its allegations as if they meant something.
The telling of this story showed contemporary journalism at its most partisan and most predictable. Big Media did as they had been doing for the previous twenty-plus years. They followed leads that supported their narrative and largely ignored those that did not. “For years,” observed Taibbi, “every hint the dossier might be true became a banner headline, while every time doubt was cast on Steele’s revelations, the press was quiet.”

It's past time to go after Obama. Is there anyone who does not know that he is the one who sent our country on its current road to hell? He was a construct of the Deep State, never even a citizen, who they shoved into power using a stolen Social Security number, a federal felony. It's time to take him down, to seize his personal property and freeze his bank accounts.
The government needs to start at the top down, instead of the bottom up like it is now doing. Where does it make sense to try to get people to say that Biden was senile when Obama was/is stealing the country blind? Congress needs to stop pretending it is doing anything, other than waste time.
Then go after, Brennan, Clapper, Clintons, Comey, Wray and on and on. Bottom up makes no sense.
Watergate was nothing. I wish more people understood that President Nixon exposed the democrats way back in the 1950s, and that is why they hated him. That’s why the media built up Watergate and Nixon as a problem.
