Other than the Portuguese no other Europeans ever disembarked from their ships. This was due to the fact they very easily died from the tropical diseases found in Sub-Saharan Africa. It was either African tribes or Arab slave traders who went ashore to capture African slaves. Those tribes are the ones who brought them out up the ships of and sold the slaves to the Europeans.

I don't need the black man to free me from any guilt. I've worked under, with and hired a number of black people with friendship and without incident. I've played no role in the current situation of the black man in general.
