Fauci's Willing Executioners Turn Their Long Knives on Elon Musk

I pulled the quote above off Facebook this morning. I could have pulled a score more like it, most of them from educated liberal females (ELFs), all of them actual friends or relatives. This one impressed me for its concise summary of ELF concerns and ELF cluelessness.

“What remains of our history?” Ladies, can we step back in time just five years and recall how eagerly you ceded control of the press, control of education, and control of your very freedom. The history of the COVID mania is really quite fresh, even if its high priest, the pre-pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, is reluctant to shed any new light.

Just five years ago, ELFs and their fellow travelers—what Lenin called “useful idiots”—were whipped into a mindless hysteria by Fauci and other unelected officials. How mindless? A survey done by Franklin Templeton-Gallup during the last six months of 2020 confirmed the madness of it all. In the survey, 35,000 Americans were asked a series of questions, the most revealing of which was this: “What percentage of people who have been infected by the coronavirus needed to be hospitalized?”

Some 41 percent of Democrats believed that 50 percent or more of those who contracted COVID would end up in the hospital. Another 28 percent said that 20–50 percent. The correct answer was 1–5 percent, an answer that Republicans were three times as likely to get right. In sum, 69 percent of Democrats were deeply misinformed about a subject of critical importance, and 41 percent were grotesquely misinformed. This mass delusion drove national policy for close to three years.

The bluer the state, the more mindless the citizens, the more oppressive the unelected officials. As a case in point, Dr. Tomás J. Aragón, then the director of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). began his issuance of his ever shifting new directives with the following declaration in bold: I, as State Public Health Officer of the State of California, order.

Order? Wow! The orders divided Californians into two classes of people, the vaccinated and unvaccinated. The CDPH ordered a mask mandate for all Californians, indoor and outdoor in June 2020. In April 2021, the outdoor mandate was lifted but only for the fully vaccinated and only if they were not in a large crowd. In December 2021, masks once again became mandatory indoors statewide. In February 2022 the mandate was lifted but only for the vaccinated.

Of course, there were many jobs the unvaccinated could not hold and many places they could not go. Thousands of free thinkers were fired for living the ELF “reproductive rights” mantra, “My body, my choice.” The ELFS shed no tears. In fact, legions of them emerged as “Karens,” Fauci’s willing executioners, eager to scold COVID dissidents in public or rat them out to the authorities if need be.

“Random people became citizen cops preventing you from living your life doing ordinary things,” said Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors. “I was watching Nazism unfold.” As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor and a California resident, Gold was “not using hyperbole.”

California’s insanely arbitrary COVID rules disqualified anyone who honored them from claiming they “follow the science.” On a given day, you could park at the City of Hermosa Beach but only for fifteen minutes. At Big Rock, Maritime Rocks beach access was closed, but at Escondido Creek, beach access was open. Venice and Cabrillo fishing piers remained closed, but the Malibu Pier was open while the Santa Monica Pier had just begun phased reopening. Every day, CDPH geniuses recalibrated the openings and closings of every California pier and beach.

To be fair, the CDPH rules resembled those of San Marcos more than they did those of Nazi Germany. In Woody Allen’s 1971 film Bananas, his character, Fielding Mellish, helped liberate this fictional Latin American country. Upon taking power, San Marcos’s new president, Esposito, issued orders to his citizens so wonderfully daft they could have been issued by Gavin Newsom.

“From this day on, the official language of San Marcos will be Swedish,” said el Presidente. “In addition to that, all citizens will be required to change their underwear every half-hour. Underwear will be worn on the outside so we can check.”

“Furthermore,” added Esposito, “all children under 16 years old are now…16 years old!” At least those kids got to go to school. As to the ELF’s “control education” anxiety, public schools in California remained shut down through the 2020–2021 school year. When schools finally reopened, the CDPH required all students to be masked and all eligible students to be vaccinated—for some, their death sentence.

The self-destructive force of these dictates alarmed responsible parents throughout the state. And with good cause. In December 2023, the Policy Analysis for California (PACE), shared a summary of COVID’s after effects: “Student achievement in California has not rebounded after the precipitous declines of the COVID-19 pandemic, with English language arts (ELA) and math scores remaining well below prepandemic levels.”

As to “press control,” the COVID authoritarians broke new ground. In late July 2020, Dr. Gold and her colleagues held a live-streamed “White Coat Summit” on the steps of the Supreme Court. For several hours, the video was Facebook’s top-performing post in the world. Then Facebook yanked it. Twitter and YouTube soon followed suit. In promoting the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, much as President Trump was doing, Gold and her colleagues helped puncture the panic balloon. The authoritarians could not allow that.

The censorship of Dr. Gold was just the first salvo in the war on truth. As a Federal Appeals Court affirmed in September 2023, a group of federal officials— “hailing from the [Biden] White House, the CDC, the FBI, and a few other agencies”—strong armed the various social media platforms into removing “disfavored content.” The fact that much of the “disfavored content”—the value of hydroxychloroquine, for instance—proved to be true was all the more reason to pull it.

“The platforms also changed their internal policies to capture more flagged content and sent steady reports on their moderation activities to the officials,” the judges continued. “That went on through the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 congressional election, and continues to this day.”

On January 6, 2021, Dr, Gold had a permit to speak on the east side of Capitol on the subject of medical freedom. When the doors opened from within, she was swept into the building in a crowd surge. Not seeing any easy way out, Dr. Gold gave her speech in the Capitol Rotunda.

Two weeks later, Gold was back home in California when about 20 FBI agents broke down the door of her condo with a battering ram. “They [yell], ‘put your hands up, put your hands up, face the wall, face the wall,’ they’re screaming, ‘face the wall’—handcuffed, shackled, take me downtown, orange suit, strip search, holding cell, fluorescent lights—it was terrible—no phone call, no Miranda rights.” On a single misdemeanor charge, Gold was sentenced to sixty days at the Miami Federal Detention Center, a maximum-security prison.

On March 4, 2022, the New York Times celebrated Dr. Gold’s sentencing with a headline that accused her of spreading “pandemic misinformation.” When posted on Facebook, this article drew more than a thousand comments, the great majority from ELFs. Two years into the mania, unaware that Gold had been proven right on every major contention, these women let loose the fascist within. Some samples:

“Apparently that ‘first do no harm’ thing didn’t take. #quack”

“Honestly she should lose her medical license for intentionally spreading so much misinformation.”

“Jail’s too good for her. But I hope she serves more than a few months.”

“With thousands of lives lost due to COVID, a felony charge would be more appropriate!”

“Hope she sees time behind bars.”

“Given the number of people who have died from her COVID lies, she should be facing more serious charges.”

“NY TIMES Stop referring to her as a doctor. She is not one of us.”

“The real agenda,” said Dr. Gold of the people who first silenced her and then imprisoned her, “was to shift us to a people that would accept government control over our daily lives.” By collaborating now with the deep state in a faux protest against real democracy, our ELF friends are repeating history and mindlessly advancing that agenda.
