This is an excellent first hand account. Thank you for keeping their fight for freedom front and center.

There is nothing "just" in justice anymore.

The most important article you’ve ever penned, Jack! This is an excellent first hand account of what really took on the morning the McMichaels and Roddie Bryan confronted Ahmaud Arbery and the events leading up to it that the mainstream press never bothered to mention because it conflicted with the race busting narrative they were trying to create. Ahmaud Arbery was a mentally ill career criminal who should’ve been committed to a psychiatric facility a long time ago. The McMichaels tried to talk to him and bring him in peacefully. He refused and ran away. He was a dangerous criminal who needed to be brought in who was a threat to everyone in the neighborhood. Not because he was black, but because of his behavior. Travis shot and killed Ahmaud in self-defense. There was no crime committed and no reason to charge Travis or Greg nor Roddie Bryan. Bryan simply made a video of what happened, nothing more. None of them should be in jail for life! This is one of the greatest injustices in American history!

The McMichaels and Mr. Bryan are akin to Leo Frank or Sacco and Vanzetti, being accused of a crime they didn’t commit and being persecuted by a public determined to see them hang. It was mob rule in Georgia essentially. George Barnhill did the right thing and Wanda Cooper pushed to have him removed from the case because she knew he would not throw three innocent men in jail. But she was determined to railroad them. As was BLM, “social justice” activists and the legacy civil rights organizations. This isn’t justice, it’s not even close. It’s a grave injustice! An injustice we must seek to remedy by any and all legal means we can! Donate, share this article and pray for Leigh McMichael, her son and their family! MLK didn’t die for this! Nor did Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, Jim Lane, or Viola Liuozzo!

Color never had anything to do with this from the beginning. Ahmaud Arbery chose to go around burglarizing people’s homes and breaking into people’s cars. He chose to behave in a menacing and threatening way towards others for no reason. He chose to not listen to reason and to run away when Greg and Travis tried to bring him in quietly and peaceably. I call on President Trump to issue a full and free pardon unto Travis and Greg McMichael and Roddie Bryan! I call on Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia to pardon them as well! The McMichaels and Roddie Bryan should be freed, paid reparations and receive an official apology from the state of Georgia! I call for Wanda Cooper to be charged with obstruction of justice, conspiracy and inciting violence!

I agree with everything you wrote except Sacco and Vanzetti. The commies used them to condemn the US. Guilty as all get out.

Thank you Noah Otte. Prayers are certainly welcome. Interesting fact. Judge Wamsley did a speech at Stetson University on social justice in the courts all based on this case after our trial. Pretty unbiased Judge, huh?

Disgusting what you and your family have been through. The cowards in politics will do anything to keep their name in the middle of the cabal.

The story of how this criminal injustice was entirely the work of the present Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr and the craven Governor Nathan Deal also needs to be told. Carr's failed malicious prosecution of the prosecutors who refused to bring false charges is criminal, he should be serving life without parole.Deal also deserves condemnation for his refusal to pardon these innocent men. Both were also complicit in enabling and failing to prosecute fraud in the 2020 election, allowing the overrhrow of the lawful government of the United States.

Actually it was Governor Kemp and he help orchestrate the whole thing. He called in the GBI and went through 2 DA’s to obtain the one they wanted. He also immediately re-wrote the citizens arrest law to confuse the jury, and he wrote the first hate crime law in Georgia. He condemned my guys and Roddy way before the facts came out and they made sure to keep the facts out of the courtroom.

Once again it has to be asked, where the hell is Governor Kemp, how was this case not appealed, & how is the judge of this case not under scrutiny?

I shared this and made a modest contribution. I hope others will do so. This is one of the worst corruptions of justice I have heard of.

This is an appalling miscarriage of justice.

You know who I think would have been screaming about this?

Nat Hentoff, who was a leftist. He was totally consistent on justice.

He was anti-abortion - do you remember that, Jack?

Yes, the one of the last of a dying breed

In Georgia, the Governor cannot Pardon. Governor Kemp orchestrated this disaster. He was running again and concerned about Stacy Abrahms. He called in GBI and took this case through 2 DA’s until he got the one he wanted. He condemned us before facts were known. He immediately changed the citizens arrest law which confused the Jury and he wrote the first hate crime law in Georgia. All of this right after the arrests were made and had Arbery’s family there for the signing of the new laws. Mind you, this was before we even went to court. We did not stand a chance for fair trial. After the conviction, the Director of the GBI , who investigated our case 24 hours before arrest made, was chosen by Kemp to be a Superior Court Judge due to his hard work on this case.

Thank you, Jack, for filling us in on the rest of the story. This makes my heart sick as evil people apparently rule the justice system, or should I say, ‘unjust’ system. I pray they can be pardoned and the prosecutors and their masters jailed (without parole) for their role in this egregious act.

I keep being told by students, "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six." A catchy little saying from people who have never been tried for murder after defending their lives. There is no "apolitical" prosecution anymore. Geography plays a part in how the case will unfold (being tried in a Blue state, city, or county) for shooting regardless of the attacker's actions forcing you to shoot in defense of life. Also recent national incidents may have significant influence on a jury pool. As we are responsible people, we must be continually seeking knowledge of the laws of self-defense and, as important, how to apply them to situations that unfold so quickly as this one did. Life without parole is no joke and it could happen to anyone defending against an

Anyone who does not believe our society requires return of mental asylums probably is a candidate for one. Allowing the mentally deficient to roam about at will is analogous to placing a human inside a cage with hungry lions. Not a rational idea if the object is humans survival.

I consider this case a GMA conviction. Everyday for weeks, Good Morning America hammered into the audience how guilty these guys were. That's how I knew they weren't.

This case also had me at Ben Crump. He seems to pop up everywhere. It looks like the deep state got their messages crossed with this one and he abandoned the family:

Thanks Jack for bringing this to the forefront. I knew it was a wrongful conviction, but didn't know how bad.
