Kamala J-17 Interview Gives Pipe Bomb Plot Away
Within a week, Harris was lying about her whereabouts on January 6
On January 17, 2021, CBS Sunday Morning aired an interview with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris that has been widely overlooked. Interviewing Harris was veteran newswoman Jane Pauley. As Pauley noted, the actual interview was done “during her visit last week”—in other words, within a week or so of January 6. The delayed broadcast also allowed for some critical editing.
The Pauley interview matters given the renewed interest in discovering the truth behind the January 6 pipe bombs expressed by both FBI Assistant Director Dan Bongino and DoJ point man Ed Martin. The relentless reporter on all things January 6, Julie Kelly, considers this “good news,” and I agree. For those interested, Kelly’s May 28 update is worth reviewing.
One useful jumping off point for any investigation should be Harris’s revealing CBS interview from 1/17/21—revealing more for what it doesn’t say than for what it does. By this early date, the conspirators knew they had a problem on their hands.
The Kamala Harris that Pauley interviewed resembles the Kamala Harris we got to know all too well in the final months of the 2024 election campaign. In explaining, for instance, how she inspired young women to overcome the imaginary obstacles she overcame, Kamala told Pauley, “I tell them I eat no for breakfast” and then laughed hysterically at her own bon mot. Of course, she neglected to say she ate “yes” over dinner and drinks with married San Francisco power broker Willie Brown, but that’s a story for another day.
The difference between the newly elected Kamala and the 2024 campaign Kamala is that this 2021 Kamala was much more relaxed. On the campaign trail, Harris was constantly forced to deny the undeniable and to justify the unjustifiable. Here, she largely spoke in clichés about events that, if not completely true, were not easily falsified.
Harris was even relaxed in recounting the events of January 6. At the 2:35 mark of the tape, after showing a series of riot images, Pauley asked Harris, “January 6 was something seismic. Something seismic happened that day. May I ask, was the TV on? Did someone say, 'Madam Vice President-Elect, you gotta see this, come.’ How did that unfold?"
Harris responded calmly on camera, "I was at the Capitol that morning, and then I was in a meeting, and I was told that I should leave.” This was arguably true. At the 2:52 mark, the camera switched back to Pauley, and the viewer hears Harris say, “And then I was taken to a secure location….” At 2:57, the camera switched back to Harris and watched her conclude, “…with my husband. We watched in horror.”
Whether Harris knew enough to keep her mouth shut or whether her handlers edited her after the fact, the Pauley interview left the impression that Harris had to leave the Capitol because of the riot. In fact, she was at the DNC and had to leave that location at about 1:15 p.m. because of a just discovered pipe bomb. The Capitol would not be evacuated for another hour.
One could argue that Harris kept silent about her location lest she interfere with the investigation, but subsequent facts undo this argument. For nearly a year after January 6 prosecutors were telling J6 judges and juries that Harris “remained within the Capitol building” throughout the riot. As a Secret Service protectee, any site Harris visited was considered “restricted.” The hundreds of defendants who violated this restricted space had their charges amplified and then, to the chagrin of the prosecutors, de-amplified after the truth eked out.
The explanation that makes the most sense is that by the time of the Pauley interview the Biden camp knew or at least suspected that the alleged bomber played in some capacity on Team Biden. While the FBI did its thing, sincerely or otherwise, the Biden camp wanted as little attention paid to the bomber as possible, If the pipe bomber vanished into the night like Oklahoma City’s “John Doe #2,” all the better. The “insurrection” story did not need a subplot, especially one that would undermine the accepted narrative.
It was not until January 6, 2022, that Harris finally admitted she was not at the Capitol during the riot. Speaking in the Capitol Rotunda Harris began with the ungodly comparison of January 6 to December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001. For all the histrionics, however, she did not acknowledge her own near death experience at the DNC. She never would admit she was at the DNC, at least not publicly. Nor would President Joe Biden, although, in his defense, he may have forgotten.
Given her penchant for self-dramatization, it would have made political sense for Harris to talk about the bomb, especially after the assassination attempts on President Trump. She was within twenty feet of an assassin’s bomb, she could have argued, and she too started down death.
But not a word. Ever. Perhaps a subpoena will loosen her tongue.

Would a subpoena loosen her tongue? Doubt it. She would pull a James Comey 245 times:
"I don't recall," "I don't remember."
The orchestrators of the J6 false flag are too clever by half. Ever watch Colombo?? Although he always had a hunch about the real perpetrator he would never be able to convict if they weren’t so arrogant & continue to alter the scene or speak unnecessarily.
