But the Clinton administration didn’t care, they captured him and had him deported back to Cuba to go live with his father.
Never mind his mother and her family had legal custody of him and under the United States’ dry foot, wet foot policy he should’ve received a visa. But President Clinton had a wealthy donor to keep happy and Attorney General Janet Reno and her deputy Eric Holder had no spine or backbone and simply did as Clinton ordered them.
Holder after cruelly snatching young Elian from his family home and deporting him back to an authoritarian police state run by the Saddam Hussein next door now has the audacity to claim he cares about due process of law or immigrants. Only because it’s Trump who’s deporting them, under a Democratic President neither of these things seemed to trouble him. His boss, Barack Obama deported more illegal immigrants than all the Presidents since 1890 combined. He said not a word back then. But since it’s a Republican President doing it now all of a sudden it’s an issue.

Fidel Castro was a dictator who ruled over the tiny Island nation of Cuba with an iron fist. His death squads executed hundreds of thousands of people without trial. He locked up more people in his gulags than Hitler and Stalin did in their first three years in power. He was a racist and a sexist. This is evidenced by the fact that the vast majority of those incarcerated in his gulags were blacks and mulattos and his prisons held some of the longest suffering female political prisoners in history. Castro admired Adolf Hitler and his famous “history will absolve me” speech was inspired by the Fuhrer.
His rise to power drove 90% of Cuba Jewish’s population out of the country which is a greater portion of the population than Tsar Nicholas II drove out of Russia. He proudly supported international terrorism, urged Nikita Khrushchev and the USSR to use nuclear weapons against the United States during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, was a warmonger and a Stalinist, and controlled the drug trade on the island along with his brothers. By the way, it was Cuban intelligence who helped Pablo Escobar stay one step ahead of the authorities. That’s right, Castro helped Pablo Escobar stay in power and keep the murderous Medellin Cartel up and running.
Castro turned Cuba from a first-world country with better living standards than much of Europe that Spanish emigrants were lined up around the block to get into into a third world s***hole with some of the highest abortion and suicide rates on Earth that not even impoverished Haitians migrants wanted anything to do with.
That’s what Bill Clinton and friends sent Elian back to. Meanwhile, the Democrats are fighting to get a psychotic criminal Kilmar Abergo Garcia, back into the country.
