Dr. Pierre Kory, a hero for patients rights during C0v1d, concluded that Chauvin's actions caused the death of George Floyd, even though he never actually examined the body. To the best of my knowledge, he has refused to reconsider his "expert witness" testimony, even after much more information came out about the actual facts of the case. Very disappointing, IMHO!
Yes, very disappointing. Mixing politics with medicine never works well. He basically made his conclusion by summarizing another doctor’s report. More like a book report, and not a scientific decision. This wasn’t like reviewing a research paper. Shameful!
I agree - I think a lot of people were horrified by what was portrayed in the initial video release and thus became biased against the officers, without knowing the whole story.
I suspect that Dr. Kory, like many people, may have been influenced by his perception that Derek Chauvin had heartlessly caused the death of George Floyd and he let that influence his conclusion...and having done so, he would have been VERY reluctant to then later announce that, upon further review, with a more complete set of facts, he was changing his opinion.
I don't believe he has any background or training in forensic medicine or pathology, specifically relating to deaths of persons while in police custody. Although Dr. Kory has been an expert witness in many medical cases he has not, to the best of my research, been one in cases involving law enforcement deaths.
Straight from Dr. Kory is an opinion piece he did for Fox. “I'm a doctor and a Democrat, and I won't let the mob force me to choose between the two.

This article was about free speech, yet it indicates to me how he failed to dissociate his political beliefs from his profession opinions. It is critical as a witness to put away your political views.
Had not seen this but I do think he allowed his personal feelings to influence his initial findings and then, as more info came out, he chose to stick with his original conclusion, rather than to reexamine the case and perhaps have to admit that he had been wrong.
I read a lot of autopsy reports in my life. A lot. I followed the Floyd case very closely and saw the original report the date it was publicized. From 2 thousand miles away, I knew Chauvin was NOT GUILTY. His biggest issue was he “vapor locked” under pressure and appeared to be unprofessional…not criminal offenses. 🤷🏼♂️
This whole case was dirty from the start thanks to Walz and Ellison. Rigor mortis had barely set into Floyd’s body when both men indicted the four officers in the court of public opinion. In their first press conference on May 29, prior to the release of the police body cam footage and the official autopsy, Walz, backed by Ellison, described the arrest as “the killing of George Floyd.” Without the bodycam footage, the public did not know the extent to which Floyd resisted arrest and claimed he could not breathe prior to being placed in the prone position by the officers. The public also did not know that the autopsy listed cardiac arrest as the principal cause of death. They were deceived into thinking Floyd was choked to death from Chauvin’s knee, and it would take years before we learned that the autopsy itself was manipulated just enough to confirm the false premise implanted in the public’s mind from day 1. The fact that Walz appointed Ellison as the lead attorney was a gross conflict of interest given their May 29 statements. A non-guilty verdict would have been serious egg on the faces of two aspiring politicians, which meant Ellison would do whatever he could to put Chauvin behind bars. Unfortunately, when it comes to these cases of woke justice, I never see a judge reign in the power of these dirty, politicized prosecutors and slimy politicians.
Every one for the G represents Evil sadly here and it’s truly easy to see all the democrats who signed papers unjustly but for political reasons to be held accountable, personally and professionally!
Intervention by Ellison is responsible for not just the 4 sent to prison but for the Doctor(s)
bullied into tainted testimony possibly being charged. Add to that the destruction during so-called “Peaceful Protests” in cities throughout the United States. Is that enough to get the 4 wrongly convicted officers out of jail while waiting for their cases to be overturned and the pending trial of Ellison and co-conspirators to begin?
Will the real criminals in this miscarriage of justice be held responsible for the deaths and damage in 100 or more cities? I don’t think they have enough between them for restitution the financial losses.
Leaving the citizens of those cities with the burden of cost should be a separate issue in considering sentencing. Giving the destruction and the loss of life in the aftermath, full life sentences with no chance of parole should be mandatory. I don’t think anything less will be acceptable to the public. It’s a clear example of Power corrupting absolutely, and will leave the door open to future abuses by Government officials.
Additionally, this entire episode lit the fuse for the January 6th corruption that killed Ashli Babbitt and made criminals of a few thousand citizens.
Ellison inflicted more physical harm to his girlfriend than Chauvin did to Floyd.
That’s a fact Jack
Bingo. Motherfucker should be in prison, instead he gets to play top cop. He deserves a slow painful death. Pure fucking evil, always was.
The US is close to catching up with third world countries in the political prison system.

Kory can go to hell. His lack of judgement about Floyd more than offset any alleged good he did with Covid.
Had he, by chance, also served on the Warren commission? Obviously asking for a friend.
That someone would surrender their integrity to protect his job is astonishing to me. There are other jobs. How do any of them sleep at night?
How do any of them sleep at night? I ask the same question, Susan, this scheme seems deep & wide and is almost unthinkable.
Justice is no longer just.
This is so disgusting! Liars everywhere……doctors and lawyers! Four police officers unjustly imprisoned on LIES! Four lives ruined due to lies!
They MUST be released!
Should have been done by Trump early on. But votes .
He can’t pardon State Statute’s crimes…

Intrepid reporting. Good show.
I just thought that I had been screwed by the government.
Mr, Cashill, how do you find critical evidence, when no other journalist seems to find, or perhaps have the courage, to report?
Remember “Paul Kersey” from Death Wish? We very well may see good honest people take matters into their own hands, exercising due justice.
These people need to be publicly punished no?
Like in the good ole days…

Remove Islamic Communists (from) America = RICA
Amen. Ellison is a massively corrupt, racist cynical bigot.
I wanted to wipe the smirk off his face when he was before Congress. Apparently, he is untouchable. How does this ever get corrected.?
These convictions were a gross miscarriage of justice.
Hopefully at judgement day there will be justice carried out for this miscarriage of banana republic justice
I didn't think I could despise him more than I already did. He's a vile snake.
