Clay Travis and Buck Sexton were talking last week about the inclusion and exclusion of race in news stories. The woman in Chicago who was riding the L recently was white, and a black man, for no known reason, doused her with a fluid and set her on fire. She is in the hospital with burns over 60% of her body. No one thought it necessary to mention race.

Everyone who thinks he set her on fire because she was white, raise your hand.

Hand raised!

A couple of thoughts: I was in NYC at the time, and I remember the “wilding” incident. And I remember saying, at the time, “Just wait. People will come forward defending and excusing the perpetrators, and that will signal the end of civilization as we know it.”

That was before most people had ever heard of Barack Obama. But, some years later, Barack Obama gave us a new, sympathetic term for criminals like those; rather than call them criminals, he described them as “folks who got caught up in the legal system.”

Obama, the felon who has used a stolen Connecticut SSN for the past forty years, should be scorned by every red blooded American. Every dollar he spent, every law he signed, every appointment he made and every military action he provoked while he was president was done illegally.

He was specifically created by the cabal, funded by Al Waleed, and groomed by the CIA. All to do what he did…

You're smarter than I am. I never predicted that people would defend this, much less that an entire industry would grow up around it.

President Trump desperately needs to send federal troops into Chicago and Kansas City. Mobs of feral black youth running around committed robbery, burglary, arson, rape, and murder are plaguing both cities. Brandon Johnson is a terrible Mayor who is soft on crime, defunded the police, made Chicago a sanctuary city, gave money and resources that a number of vulnerable demographics who are U.S. citizens need and deserve to illegals, and opened the door for deadly teen takeovers to happen everyday. The Windy City needs an immediate federal takeover by the Trump administration!

As to the Central Park Five, they were 100% guilty. In 1989, six black men one an adult, five of them teens were "wilding" and attacked a female jogger, Trisha Melli. They beat her up, sexually assaulted and raped her. The Central Park Five were cleared of rape which is technically correct. But then they should've been re-charged with assault and sexual assault and sent back to jail. They didn't rape her, but they did help hold her down and sexually assaulted her while the adult in their group raped her.

They are thugs and always will be thugs until the day they die. They will never be absolved of their guilt for their crimes by the one judge that matters-God. The far-left, race baiting and FICTIONAL series might I add When They See US directed by racist Ava DuVernay glorified the criminals and claimed they were totally innocent and were just picked on and profiled because they were black. Ken Burns' garbage documentary on the subject repeated these claims.

Let me debunk this once and for all. The Central Park Five weren't racially profiled, their parents were notified, they were allowed to retain council, they were identified positively as the ones who attacked Trisha Melli, and the lead detective on the case by the way was black. One of the idiots who was in the mini-series gave a moronic speech where he declared them "the exonerated five." First off, they were only partially exonerated. Second, they are not heroes they are criminals who attacked a woman and had no remorse for doing so. They are awful people who didn't deserve any degree of exoneration and are very much not "exonerated." Most people know the truth and most importantly, God knows the truth.

Some random judge's decision means absolutely nothing. The victim is not those five hoods, its Trisha Melli the victim who's continued to live a good life and thrive despite the horrific crimes done to her. She's the only who deserves our admiration and I'm glad Jack included her book here. They were NOT legitimate victims of racism! They never faced the unbelievable levels of hatred and violence their ancestors did in the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries.

The teenage thugs running around Kansas City’s once bustling entertainment districts should be stopped immediately! Quinton Lucas needs to be recalled and voted out of office! The attacks on amusement parks and spoiling of civic celebrations needs to stop. The Missouri National Guard along with the FBI and U.S. Marshals must be sent into the city. The race of these criminals while an uncomfortable fact, must be made public. They are mostly black kids. This is due to the problem with criminality in the black community. This can’t be explained away by “systemic racism.” It is due to bad individual choices and black culture. No, not all black kids are criminals to be sure. But way too many fall into that life because they come from a broken family and have no father in the house to raise them and teach them how to properly be a man.

Does racism to an extent, exist in the justice system? Yes. Does racial profiling of black people occur? Yes. But these two things alone can’t explain why half the prison population is black. It’s because of the black community’s own internal problems that have yet to be solved. Why is the black community poor? Are the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow factors? For sure. But they can’t entirely explain it. Again, we must get to the root cause of the prevalence of black youth committing crimes in big cities, the breakdown of the black family, no father around to model appropriate behavior, ignoring one’s studies, dropping out of school, gangs, drugs, lose sexual behavior, refusing to get a real job, and a normalization of violence and life becoming cheap. Racism coexists alongside these things as just one factor among many let me assure you.

Donald Trump’s column calling for a return of the death penalty in New York following the incident was 100% correct! He never mentioned race expect when talking about the families of New York white, black, Latino, and Asian who needed protection. Barack Obama impugning racism on Trump for this absolutely ridiculous! Donald Trump was right then and he’s right now! Trump wanted New Yorkers of all colors protected. Guess who usually is responsible for killing ordinary black people? The very same black criminals that the left and folks like Mayor Johnson are providing cover to. I look forward to when Johnson’s administration inevitably implodes and the whole thing comes crashing down. It’s only a matter of time until this happens!

Jack you hit that nail on the head, but no one in these cities' government's want to hear it To do so, they would have to do something about the situation in all American cities.

We all have seen the deterioration of society rapidly increase while and since Obama was President. It didn’t necessarily start with him, but his administration was the straw that broke America’s back.

My own home town, and yours, Newark, NJ was once a city that rivaled New York City in many aspects. Smaller in total area but our downtown area was a match for New York and other major cities,. The Shopping was equal to that of NYC and considerably less expensive, we also had minor league sports and some theater. Unfortunately, it too suffered a decline in all departments as did other cities. I won’t say race was the main cause, but it obviously was/is a factor that cannot be denied.

Now just shadows of their former self, all these cities are suffering from the same disease, reluctance to identify the cause. It isn’t just race, but the conditions that attract those with less ability and therefore, opportunity. One being welfare which has become not a crutch to help people to get them to the next stage of achievement but is that final stage. Add to that substandard housing and opportunity, these cities become “Dead ends” for it’s citizens. The politicians halfhearted promises never coming to fruition.

The youth in my area don’t go wilding. Adults in my area carry firearms, including many women. If I see you cut someone’s throat or douse them in gas, I will shoot you dead. And so likely will my relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Inconvenient truth. The same phenomenon hit the malls (and destroyed them) in the city 10 miles from where we are. At the time, the paper did publish several of my letters to the editor, centered around and addressing the demise by (my term then) the ‘thugitis virus’…

I recall that I was in my late teens at the time the case of the Central Park jogger was in the news. More recently, there was something called “the knockout game.” On some level, they seem to be interrelated, as different forms of thuggery.

Same game, minor rule variations

Many “teens” are adults. The term “teens” should be specific to minors and adults. The media is too loose with the term “teens.”

The age of majority in Illinois is 18 years old. Upon reaching this age, a person is legally considered an adult and is held responsible for their own actions, such as signing contracts, serving on a jury, and registering for the draft

Democrats like Obama and the rest love to twist the words of people they hate and even have the media to help them. The problem in these blue cities is that leaders are scared to say that a large number of black young people are largely committing these henous crimes and instead of coddling them, hold them accountable when they commit a felony, not have them in and out of jail twenty times until they kill someone.
