Before his fall from grace, comedian Louis CK, employed a riff focused on a simple truism: “Everything is amazing right now, and nobody’s happy.” One story he told involved a seat mate on an airplane flight who threw a fit when the newly introduced internet went down. Said Louis CK, “How quickly the world owes him something he knew existed only 10 seconds ago.”
So it is among that slice of the conservative commentariat whose primary mode of communication is the gripe: How come no big time Dem is in jail? How come millions of illegals are still in country? How come the war in Ukraine persists? How come…how come…how come?
These questions would have more punch if President Trump and his people were operating in a vacuum, but they are obviously not. As the murders of Charlie Kirk and the National Guard’s Sarah Beckstrom attest, they face an unprecedented, increasingly scary resistance both in the courts and in the streets, one fully endorsed by a dissembling media and an adult-free Democratic Party. Given this context, the more useful question to ask this Thanksgiving might be, “How could the White House have had so many amazing successes?” Lest you forget:
10—The military. Under different leadership, the not so subtle appeal by the “Seditious Six” and others to mutiny might get a hearing. But the radical excision of the woke agenda has revived the warrior mentality. Young people have responded. “Military recruiting has increased significantly,” Google AI tells us, “since reaching a low in 2022 and 2023, with all active-duty branches of the U.S. military meeting or exceeding their recruiting goals for fiscal year 2025. This marks a major turnaround after several challenging years.”
9—Planned Parenthood. According to the PP web page, “On July 4, 2025, President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law. This sweeping piece of legislation defunded Planned Parenthood.” Who’d a thunk it just a year ago?
8—PBS and NPR. Again from Google AI, a useful aggregator of conventional wisdom, “Direct federal funding for public media, including NPR and PBS, has been eliminated, with Congress reclaiming $1,1 billion in funding. As a result, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has lost its federal funding.” The Right has been dreaming of this since Bert and Ernie went gay.
7—Sex change surgeries on minors. “In a landmark decision this past June, the Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law banning “gender-affirming” care for minors. In United States v. Skrmetti, the Court ruled that the restriction of certain medical care to minors did not violate the 14th amendment. All three Trump appointees voted in the affirmative. Tennessee is one of 25 such states. This ruling complements the executive orders issued by President Trump.
6—Washington DC. In the wake of the attack on the National Guard, Democrats and the media—redundant, I know—have questioned why the Guard were needed, even suggesting that their presence triggered the.attack. They should ask the residents. To date, there have been 50 fewer murders in DC than last year, a 30 percent decline and an even greater drop in property crimes. Trump has exposed the comforting lie that big cities must be shit holes.
5—Climate Change. In its mindlessly hostile way, Google AI tells us all we need to know: “President Donald Trump’s opinion of climate change is one of deep skepticism and dismissal, frequently referring to it as a “hoax,” “con job,” or “scam”. He generally rejects the scientific consensus that human activity is the primary cause of warming and has pursued policies focused on maximizing U.S. fossil fuel production.” Even in the GOP, these sentiments were unthinkable just a few years ago.
4—The Economy. The following comes from WhiteHouse.gov so there may be some embellishment around the edges. “Core inflation is near its lowest level in four years, prices for everyday goods continue to fall, and Americans are growing increasingly confident about the economic outlook. Jobs numbers have trounced expectations for four straight months, gas prices are at their lowest level in four years, blue-collar wage growth has seen the largest increase in nearly 60 years, and Wall Street sentiment is surging as the stock market reaches new record highs.” All this and, of course, the aggressive use of tariffs to restore balance in trade.
3—Cleaning House. When launched, DOGE had much sharper teeth than anyone anticipated, setting the deep state on fire and more than a few Teslas as well. Although decommissioned ahead of schedule, DOGE set the trend line. USAID has been effectively shut down. The Department of Education is being dismantled. DEI has been dethroned, and regulations are being streamlined across the board.
2—World Peace. This again comes from the White House. All such deals are admittedly shaky, but the scope of this success is hard to refute: President Trump has leveraged his dealmaking ability “to achieve unprecedented peace in eight conflicts throughout the world — including between India and Pakistan, Israel and Iran, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Israel and Hamas.” Oh yea, and the greatest stroke for world peace—taking out Iran’s nuclear program.
America, days before the amazing things began to happen
1—Illegal Immigration. The single greatest accomplishment of the Trump White House—a truly amazing one—is ending the invasion at our southern border. Working with China, his people are actively cutting the flow of fentanyl into the US from the south, and, as they have shown Venezuela, trying to boat poison into the US has consequences. The Thanksgiving attack in DC has revealed still another layer of infestation left over from the Biden era, but Trump’s response has been, to say the least, vigorous. Those who still want to gripe about the White House response, I double dog dare them to tell Tom Homan to his face.

A much needed, excellent reminder that reality is alive everywhere BUT in the US mainstream media. What the Trump-Vance administration has achieved in 10 months is mind blowing, record breaking, and life saving. Read this post a couple of times if needed. We’re a million times better than under the treasonous Biden-Harris administration of hell.
