However, I would add one thing I think many on our side calling for perp walks might not consider - we spent the last 4 or more years decrying the constant drumbeat of the lawfare that was carried out against Trump and many of his supporters, calling it the act of a country descending into a 3rd-world banana republic.
While we know what's what, any act of holding leftist lunatic derangedicrats accountable would be construed by derangedicrats and repeated, ad nauseum, by their media as unprecedented, and the drumbeat would begin again, except that it is Trump who would be cast the newest king of Scotland.
Do republicans have the will, and are they adept enough, to sidestep those landmines, especially when there are many of them still who are of the establishment bent and might not be willing to go to the mat for Trump?
A very good recapitulation of the last year's worth of victories for conservatives (and most everyone else, for that matter). I feel three words might become a simplistic mantra: "Count your blessings".

Donald Trump has for the most part, done a very good job in the first ten months of his Presidency and has accomplished more than Joe Biden did in four years in the White House! Joe Biden is one of the worst Presidents this nation has ever had. Donald Trump came in and restored America much in the way Ronald Reagan came and restored America after Jimmy Carter’s presidency went down in flames.
What did we get from Joe Biden? The Southern border crisis, the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, record inflation, excessive spending, a terrible economy, the abandonment of Israel, six billion dollars being given to Iran, he pardoned crooks like Nancy Pelosi, Dr. Anthony Fauci and his corrupt family members, war being waged on parents, a government disinformation board was almost set up, Build Back Better and the Student Loan Forgiveness Plan both crashed and burned, and Hunter Biden embarrassed his father and the country with his outrageous behavior.
Let’s talk about some of the great things Donald Trump has done. The U.S. Military was a woke joke under Biden. Trump reformed the military and returned it to being a respectable fighting force our nation could be proud of. He fired all the incompetent generals who ran the service, restored the warrior culture, banned the military from performing sex-change operations with taxpayer money, forbade Trans people with gender dysphoria or whom needed surgery from joining the service, and reinstantiated those who were fired from the service during COVID with full back pay. Military recruitment is at record levels and all that matters military readiness, is what has been placed at the forefront for them. The Department of Defense also appropriately returned to being the Department of War.
Cutting federal funding for PBS and NPR was long overdue! Once, these two outlets did top-notch and valuable programming. Those days are LONG since over! Now they just do liberal propaganda. Just look at the documentary Ken Burns made on the American Revolution. It opens with a land acknowledgment where Burns claims the Iroquois Confederation was the one who inspired the founding fathers and was practicing democracy before them. Okay number one, that’s a totally different form of democracy. 2) No, they were in fact, NOT influenced by the Iroquois but by the Ancient Greeks, Ancient Romans and the thinkers of the English, Scottish and French Enlightenments. John Locke, Baron de Montesquieu, David Hume, any of those names ring a bell, Ken? They deserved to lose every penny our tax dollars provided to them!
President Trump has been a peacemaker extraordinaire! He has negotiated peace treaties between India and Pakistan, Rwanda and the Congo, Serbia and Kosovo, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Cambodia and Thailand, and the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Not to mention putting forward a peace plan for Gaza and Ukraine and bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities into dust. Something Barack Obama and Joe Biden never had the guts to do.
On illegal immigration and border security, he’s knocked out of the park. 139,000+ illegal immigrants have either been deported or self-deported. The Southern border is both secure and quiet. Trump is taking it the cartels and has forced them to operate out of the interior of Texas since nobody and nothing is allowed to cross the border illegally with the Border Patrol and the U.S. Military on the job. ICE despite the militant and violent resistance, is getting the job done and Tom Homan is as unflappable as ever. Human and drug trafficking at the border have vanished overnight. Of the 300,000 missing illegal immigrant children, most have been located.
As to the National Guard being deployed in Washington D.C. was 100% the right decision. Crime plummeted immediately when President Trump sent in the troops. The tragic events of the past couple days only serve to illustrate why they needed to be there in the first place. RIP Sarah Beckstrom! 🇺🇸🫡🌸🌺💐🕊️🕯️May her memory be a blessing! I pray Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe will make a full and speedy recovery! 🙏 Life in the big cities can be peaceful, prosperous and crime free! Big cities being overrun with crime should NOT be the norm nor accepted as such! President Trump should continue to liberally employ the National Guard to help fight crime in any city that may need it. I’m glad the troops are in Portland in particular protecting ICE agents from Antifa and their sympathizers.
